The fast and dense center of the tread, combined with the sharp sides that provide cornering safety, make the WTB Trail Boss a true king of trails. Trail Boss is most often used on the rear wheel in combination with Vigilante on the front wheel. Alternatively, it can be used at the front as a faster tire for paved trails.
